Elizabeth Reed Ledet

Elizabeth (Betty) Ledet entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was born on September 26, 1921 in Mobile, Alabama to the late George Yarborough and Clara Mitternight. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Paul Ledet. She was the loving mother of Suzanne L. Painter (Henry) and Judy L. Gelbke. She was the grandmother of Eric P. Painter and Bryan P. Gelbke and great grandmother of Henry John Painter. She is also survived several nieces and nephews.

Betty was a parishioner of St. Benidle Catholic Church for 30 plus years and loved her church family. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her friends at Pontiff Golden Agers and Busy Bees.

A memorial service will be held at St. Benidle Catholic Church on Tuesday January 18, 2022, at 10 am and a mass at 11 am. Interment to follow at Lakelawn Mausoleum.

The family would like to give special thanks to Rhonda, Erika, Cindy and Brenda of Sunset Hospice for their loving care.
