Dorothy May Zansler Justice

Dorothy May Zansler Justice passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the age of 94. She was born in of New Orleans, Louisiana, lived in Waveland, Mississippi and later resided in Kenner, Louisiana. Beloved wife of the late James Justice. Daughter of the late Joseph J. Zansler and Catherine Burst Zansler. Sister of Audrey Hosch, Betty Schmidt (Herb), Gertrude Schmidt, Patricia Rutter (Art) and the late Catherine Hurst, Rosemary Scheruck and Joseph J. Zansler. She was lovingly called Aunt Dottie by a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Dorothy retired from Whitney Bank after 50 years. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the care givers at Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Kenner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Inurnment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Lung Association in Louisiana, 2325 Severn Avenue, Suite 8, Metairie, LA 70001-6918
