Doris Fleurichamp

Doris Keyes Fleurichamp passed away peacefully the morning of August 3l, 2021, at her daughter's home in Gretna, LA at the age of 96.  

Beloved wife of the late Emile "Buddy" Fleurichamp.  Daughter of the late James B. Keyes and Nelie May Radford Keyes.  Sister of the late Thomas Keyes, Myrtle Keyes Clark and Lois Keyes Gonzales.  

Doris was a longtime resident of Arabi, LA prior to Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  She is survived by her daughters Diane Fleurichamp Kiff (Gilbert) and Brenda Fleurichamp Fernandez (Don).  Grandchildren Stacey Campora Bartholomew (Lester), Justin Reese (Amanda), Jessica Reese, Betsy Kiff St. Pierre (Dusty), Bliss Kiff Cunningham (Chad), Buddy Kiff (Nicol), 9 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.

Doris had a passion for dancing and for years some of her fondest memories were of the Sunday nights she spent at the Jefferson Orleans Dance Hall surrounded by friends and the invigorating music of the brass band.  The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to Lucern Henry for her devotion and compassionate care.

Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 5190 Canal Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124 on September 16, 2021, at 11:00 am.
