Dolores Acosta Hutcherson

Dolores Theresa Acosta Hutcherson passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the age of 88. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie Alonzo Acosta and Joseph Augustin Acosta, her son Glen R. Hutcherson and her brothers Elmo J. Acosta and Gerald N. Acosta. She is survived by her sister Vera A. Cardinale, son Chris R. Hutcherson, 4 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by Boy, her beloved Chihuahua. A native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Metairie. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation to be held at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124, on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 11:00am-1:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Humane Society of Louisiana are appreciated.
