David Lee Baradell

David Lee Baradell, Sr., 89, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2019.  He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Haas Baradell.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Mabel Branigan Baradell and Clifton Baradell.  He was born and raised in New Orleans and moved to the West Bank in 1963 with his wife and children.  Father of Susan Baradell Rulh, Becky Baradell Fogarty, and David Lee Baradell, Jr.  Father-in-law to Donald Rulh, Sr., Mike Fogarty, Sr., and Lynette Baradell. Grandfather to Donald Rulh, Jr., Donielle Orgeron (Scott), Shaun Cemo (Darrel), Lauren Marchese (Stephen), Elizabeth Rulh, Michael Fogarty, Jr., Amelia Rulh, David Baradell, III, Daniel Baradell, and Bethany Baradell. Great-grandfather to Ivy Dubreuil, Sophia Marchese, Caroline Rulh, Graham Cemo, Nash Marchese, Elle Orgeron, Mya Clark, Reid Orgeron, Camille Rulh, Donovan Rulh, Remy Orgeron, Monroe Marchese, Alexander Rulh, Kye Baradell, and Aurora Baradell.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1953 to 1956 in the 101st Airborne/Screaming Eagles Division until he was honorably discharged.  He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. A graveside burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Noon.
