Claudia N Pfeffer

Claudia N. Pfeffer, 82 of Metairie, LA, entered into Glory on Sunday morning September 19, 2021. Claudia was born on August 23, 1939, in Tulsa, OK. She was one of seven children. She was raised by her great aunt who instilled inner strength, good work ethic, strong morals and love for the Lord.

Claudia was a true entrepreneur in every since of the word. From co-owning Letric-Lites of Louisiana to financial planning. Tax accounting to breeding show dogs and even judged some shows. She had the golden touch.

Claudia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Joseph Pfeffer and his daughters Sandra Moliere (David) Moliere and June Beste (Tim).

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Claudia is also preceded in death by her first husband H.B. Richardson. They had two children Christine Hickson (Jeff) and Tommy Richardson (Sharon), and step granddaughter Paige and step daughter Brenda Porter.

Claudia is survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She fiercely loved her family, had a loving sprit and bright smile. We were all better for having the blessing of her in our lives. She will be deeply missed.

The family would like to offer their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of St. Anthony’s Nursing Home and especially, Paula Marshall.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124 on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, starting at 9:30 AM, followed by a Catholic Service in the Chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 5190 Canal Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124.
