Clarence J. “Moose” Foret, Jr. passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the age of 81. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rhoda Jane Curry Foret; a devoted son, Tracy John Foret and his wife, Mary Kingsley Foret; three adoring grandchildren, Alexandra Marie Foret, Miles Dorian Foret and Nicole Kingsley Clements; and his dog, Flynn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence J. Foret, Sr. and Doris Rasmussen Foret; and best friend and cousin, Maurice Robichaux.
Mr. Foret retired from Dixie Industries after 61 years of being in the electrical business. He proudly served in the U.S. National Guard 225th Engineers and was a member of AARP 4924. Moose was an avid Tulane Fan.
A private graveside service was held in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Clarence’s name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
