Clare “Euny” Wegmann Donegan, a retired employee of BellSouth, passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 94. Mrs. Donegan was born in New Orleans, in the Irish Channel and was a resident of Metairie, A for 53 years. She was a parishioner of St. Louis King of France Catholic Church and a former parishioner of St. Alphonsus Liguori and a graduate of Redemptorist Girls High School (Third and Prytania). Beloved Wife of the late Milton P. Donegan, Sr. Mother of Milton P. Donegan, Jr., Michael P. Donegan and Mark P. Donegan. Mother-in-law of Jean Nunez Donegan, Louise Sheets Donegan and Kathleen Daly Donegan. Daughter of the late Charles H. Wegmann, Sr. and Clare Johnston Wegmann. Sister of Charleen Wegmann Adam, Charles H. Wegmann, Jr. and the late Mary Wegmann Lemonier. Sister-in-law of the late Eulalie Donegan Trapani, Tony Trapani, Dennis Donegan, Dorothy Donegan, Bernard Donegan, Shirley Donegan, Donald Lemonier and William J. Adam, Jr. Grandmother of Holly Landry (Robert), Emily Clare Lipani (Michael), Mark Donegan, Jr. (Stacy), Michael H. Donegan (Bethany), Brian Donegan (Whitney), Erin Donegan, Ryan Donegan (Scott), Caitlyn Donegan, Kyle Donegan and Dawn Boudreaux. Great-Grandmother of Mackenzie, Mark III (Trey), Toby and Reagan Donegan, William and Maren Clare Lipani; Cecilia, Lillian and Evelyn Landry; Beth Donegan and Maddox Gentry. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The countless family gatherings and the weekends and holidays in Bay St. Louis are fond memories that will live on forever. Honey and Babe were married in 1949 and for 52 years lived happily ever after and are once again together in God’s grace.
