Ms. Catherine was one of the most nurturing, hospitable women I’ve ever known. As a neighbor, she always kept tabs on us growing kids, sharing life lessons and words of advice and encouragement. I’m blessed and grateful to have known her. May her family be comforted by many precious memories.

I met Miss Katherine through Superintendent Giarrusso. The superintendent was a kind, brilliant man who was blessed with a love and empathy for people. He was someone I admired for his honesty, integrity, and fairness.
However, Miss Katherine was truly his equal. Miss Katherine was the head of their home. She was a kind, loving lady, who was deeply religious and who cherished her family. I often considered how wonderful this family was because of their love and leadership. Two very remarkable and again loving people who commanded my respect.
I was blessed to say I knew them.

I remember Aunt Catherine as beautiful and regal, and to Mama (Zona), she was "Katrinka." Love to the Viviano and Giarrusso families.

My heartfelt condolences to your family for the loss of your loved one. While words fail to capture the pain of losing some one you love, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your love one to you. May you find comfort in the promise of the resurrection, (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15) from Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18), and that he will strengthen you all to endure not only this trial but future ones as well.
