Beryl Anne deLuzain aged 79 passed away Sunday May 8, 2022, Mother’s Day. Beryl was a lifelong residence of New Orleans. Owner of Renaissance Gardens. Former owner of Old Metairie Plant Station, Secret Gardens, Four Winds, Spring Time, and Garden Wizards. Beryl was very blessed to have owned the business of her dreams. Her own secret garden. Her gardens where her true home. Previously employed at the Royal Orleans, 20 years at the Royal Sonesta. Proceeded in death by her husband Wayne C. Morales, father Jules C. deLuzain, mother Lillian A. Bectel, brother Benny deLuzain, sister Barbra deLuzain Mayer, Survived by her beloved son Alan J. Reese Jr. brother Bryan H. deLuzain, sister inlaw Shirley deLuzain, her faithful companion Max, her faithful partner David Phillips, her mini me Marilyn deLuzain, and her great mini me Lydia Anne deLuzain, her nieces Sara deLuzain, Nicole deLuzain Dezendorf, Cathrine Maher Giorlando, Donna Maher, Louis Maher, her brother in-law Charlie Maher Jr., nephews Nicholas deLuzain, and Charles Maher the 3rd. The family will receive friends at Greenwood Funeral Home 5200 Canal Blvd. on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 11A.M. until 1P.M. A funeral Mass to follow and burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
