Bernard Wharton Triche

Bernard Wharton Triche died on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the age of 66 years old. He was born on February 19, 1955, in Lafayette, LA. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Jefferson, LA.
He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Vignau Triche and a brother, Jerard Triche.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Donna Breffeihl Triche, his mother Emilie Shepard Triche Mistretta, four brothers; Stephen Triche (Stephanie), Douglas Triche (Bertha), James Triche (Shari), and Richard Triche (Grace), two sister-in-laws, Cynthia Ferrara and Bonnie Mulligan (Kevin), two step-brothers Robbie Mistretta (Ruth) and Mark Mistretta (Debbie), and three step-sisters Jan Mistretta, Jill Bergeron, and Mary Ann Matherne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Bernard was a sweet, kind, selfless, and exceptional person. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1908 Short Street, Kenner, LA on Friday, May 28, 2021, starting at 11:00 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
