Annette Chaplain Rasnic

Annette Chaplain Rasnic passed away at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida at 6:50 P.M. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the age of 56. She was born in New Orleans, LA, a graduate of St. Dominic School and Cabrini High School, a homemaker, beloved wife and mother.

Annette was proceeded in death by her son Zachary Ryan Rasnic, sister Theresa C. Martin, father Leon A. Chaplain Jr., mother-in-law Frances Rasnic and sister-in-law Judy Wilson.

She was survived by her husband James William Rasnic, sons Jordan and Brandon, mother Melba Chaplain, her siblings Mary C. Goertz (Bobby), Leon Chaplain III (Lynne), Rosary C. Papania (Jay), Elizabeth C. Dullary (Joe), Louis Chaplain (Alaine) and Margaret C. Matherne (Jeffrey), her brother-in-law Jeff Martin, Sr. and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. A mass will begin at 11:00 A.M.
