Andrew Lawrence Jeavons

Andrew “Drewby” Lawrence Jeavons born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on April 29, 1997. Andrew lived in Sacramento California close to his mother and brother. Andrew loved being an attentive brother and son. He cared deeply for his beloved dog, Beaux. Andrew was immensely creative, enjoyed writing, and cared deeply for his little brother. He had recently enrolled in writing classes at Los Rios Community College to complete a degree in journalism. Andrew passed on June 12, 2022, in Sacramento California.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Ashley Freeman; father, James Jeavons (Tonya); and siblings Jazz Thompson, Allie Jeavons, and Carly Jeavons; uncle, Russell Jeavons (Tina); paternal grandmother, Carol Atherton; cousins; Cole, Christina, and Matthew Jeavons. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Anthony James Jeavons and William “Bill” Atherton.

For 25 years he brightened our lives. The world will be a little dimmer without him. Nothing can truly express the void that fills our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Monday, July 11, 2022, starting at 9:00 AM, followed by a celebration of life in the Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Mausoleum.
