Amy Nicole Schwander Townson

Amy passed away peacefully at her home in Mandeville on May 16, 2023 at the age of 44. Survivors include her three children Kaden Lee Townson, Dakota Madilynn Townson, Lola Rose Ladner, her sister Katie Schwander Duplass (John), her Godchild Hunter Davis Duplass, step-siblings; Thomas Joseph Ryan (Brenna), Benjamin David Ryan (Melissa), Cheri Ryan Borgstede (Nathan) and her loving father Jay Thomas Schwander (Beth Licciardi Schwander). Predeceased by her beloved mother Sheryll Dubose Schwander and her Memaw Eleanor Dubose. Also survived by many extended family members, including Chad Lee Townson, Brooklyn Elaine Townson, Wylie Albert Ladner Jr. and Bud Germany.

Amy enjoyed people, the outdoors, football, rescuing dogs, making Mardi Gras bead dogs and sitting around campfires with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm, on Monday, May 22, 2023 at St. Angela Merici Church, 835 Melody Drive, Metairie, LA 70002. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until Mass time. Burial will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA.
