Abigail Rose Giammaria

Our little angel, Abigail Rose Giammaria, entered this world on December 8, 2018. She departed to be with our Lord on April 26, 2021. Abigail was a joy to all who met her, and her smile touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was pure love and affection. We rejoice in the knowledge that she will now experience the true joy and happiness of being in the presence of our Lord. Abigail is sadly missed by her mother, Madison Sulony and her father Mark Giammaria, her twin sister Anastasia, her sister Lyla, her grandparents Shelia Ferguson and partner Randy Leche, grandparents Cathy and Kevin Cutress, great grandparents Audie and Linda Ferguson, uncles Adam Sulony and Jason Giammaria, and her great aunt and uncle Linda and Bryan Silversten. Abigail's family wishes to acknowledge and thank the amazing staff at Children's Hospital, A Child's Wish of New Orleans, Savannah Smiles Foundation, Bright School and Nola's Little Miracles. All of these nonprofits helped Abigail, Anastasia and Madison in different ways showing their love and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given in Abigail's name to any of the organizations mentioned above. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am and continue until Mass time. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.greenwoodfh.com.
