Mary Ernel Lehrmann Lauga, age 84, died on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Beloved wife of Louis “Sonny” Lauga Jr. Mother of Victoria “Vikki” Lauga Wolfe (Randy); Louis Lauga III (Susan) and the late Nolan Lauga. Daughter of the late Ethel Hawkins Lehrmann and Ernst F. Lehrmann. Sister of Ronald A. Lehrmann and the late Marguerite L. Pelitere and Ernst “Ike” Lehrmann Jr. Grandmother of Evan Wolfe (Maggie); Raleigh Wolfe (Colleen); Nikki Gebhard (Sean); Bradley Lauga (Aurora); Olivia Lauga; and Brandon Lacour (Kaitlyn). Great grandmother of William, Patrick, Colin, Caylee, Bradley Jr., Marlaina, Cecilia, Anjela, and Brandon Jr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, La 70124 on Saturday, , August 19, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon followed by a Mass in the Chapel. Private Burial to follow in Greenwood Mausoleum, New Orleans at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Mary Ernel Lehrmann Lauga will be appreciated. Due to construction, the most convenient way to drive to Greenwood Funeral Home is straight down Canal Blvd from the Lake Pontchartrain end toward the City Park Avenue / Canal Street intersection.
