Lonnie Charles Scrivens passed away, peacefully in the presence of his loving family, on Friday, July 21, 2017 after a long battle of Congestive Heart Failure, he was 68.  Son of the late, Willie A Scrivens and Edwina Johnson-Scrivens. Beloved husband of Jessy Mae Watts-Scrivens. Loving father of Antonio Nicolas Myers-Scrivens (Goldie). Step-father of Albert Watts and Carey A Myers (Detrick). Beloved grandfather of, Carey Jamal Barnes, Albrielle, Casey, and Carey A Myers III. LaKisha R Parker and four great-grandchildren, K'Leah, Nairobi, Jaylin, and King. Brother of William Johnson, and the late, Ronald Scrivens, Calvin Scrivens, Sandra Jackson, and Willie Scrivens, Jr. Also survived by a host of family and friends. Lonnie was a retired Vietnam Veteran and member of the American Legion Post of Disabled Veterans of La.
