Lena Bacino Turpin passed away at home on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her mother Lena Meo Bacino, father Salvatore Joseph Bacino, husband Charles J. Turpin, Jr., and brother Frank J. Bacino. Lena is survived by her son Charles J. (C.J.) Turpin, III, granddaughter Ashley N. Chepeck, cousins Rosemary C. Gennaro and Josephine (Josie) C. Santora, and other loving family and friends.
Mrs. Turpin graduated from John McDonogh High School in 1943. She was an office worker in the marine instrument sales and service business for almost 60 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass in the Chapel at 1:00 PM.
