Joe C. Martin passed away peacefully at home from brain cancer surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at the age of 60. Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Sharyn Martin; three children, Kenny Houpt, April Martin and Joey Martin; three siblings, Geneva Bailey, Michael Martin and Joe Sanflippo; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Martin and Geneva Martin; and one sister, Kathy Bonner.
Joe will be sorely missed by his loving family and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3101 Eton Street, New Orleans, on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, starting at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 12:30 PM.
