Jefferson E. Lee, Sr., age 84, died on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 6:05 PM. Beloved husband of Joan Sciambra Lee. Father of Joan K. Clement, Cheryl A. Becnel, Cynthia L. Broyard, Jefferson “Jeff” Lee, Jr., and the late Bret M. Lee. Son of the late Ioma Stinson Lee and Ivory Lee. Brother of the late Betty L. Sciambra. Also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Preceeded in death by his great-grandson, Brock Emery Broyard. Mr. Lee was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and currently a resident of Walker, LA. He was a former Law Enforcement officer with the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Department.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA. on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 10AM until 1PM followed by Mass. Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend special thanks to Jefferson Health Care and Passages Hospice for their attention and care of Mr. Lee.
