Message from Chris Johnston

My thoughts and prayers are with Greg's Family during a very difficult time. I am truly blessed to call Greg my, "Cuz"! During my younger years, I would spend weeks at a time with Gil and Greg growing up in Bissonet Plaza and enjoying many childhood memories. Later on our journey, Greg and I worked side by side at M-Electric and learned the electrical trade. The last time I saw Greg was over in Mobile, Alabama when he showed up at my facility working on a project almost 6 years ago. He walked into my office and shouted, "Hey Cuz" and proceeded to sit and talk for an hour, just like it was yesterday we had talked.
"Hey Cuz" May God Bless you and Rest in peace!

Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire family! Although we cannot be with you in person, know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. I have many fond memories shared with Greg and all the Smith/Roppolo family... Mardi Gras parties in Metairie and fun times riding horses/mini-bikes during visits to the Waggaman house. Thank you for your service to our great nation, and thank you for helping to make many memories with your family/friends. God calls us to himself in many different ways, your spirit and good nature will always be qualities that we respect. Rest in peace and give your Dad/Mom a big kiss/hug from Debbie and I... love to ALL the family!!
