Gregory (Greg) John Smith Sr. passed into eternal life on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was a resident of Boutte and former resident of Waggaman, LA. Greg was born on October 13, 1957, and was son of the late Mr. Gilbert Smith Jr. and the late Mrs. JoAnn Smith. He was the brother of Gilbert (Gil), Gary and Glenn Smith. The loving father of three children: Gregory Jr., Jamie Stacy, and Jonathan. The proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Analyce, Gregory III, Alison, Kassidy, Karlee, Abigail, and Sophia.
Mr. Smith was an employee of National Dentex and an Army Ranger 82nd Airborne Veteran.
Visitation service for Mr. Gregory John Smith Sr. will be held at Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Boulevard New Orleans, LA 70124) on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 3p.m-6p.m.
