Pat was one of those musicians that crosses paths of musical legends like Charlie Spivak of the Big Band Era as well as this younger generation keyboardist. I caught Pat's attention when I played Spivak's Theme song from 1940 "Star Dreams". We shared notes on songs from his day, and a friendship was born. We both enjoyed meeting with the Bayou Liberty Jazz Band on Monday nights. He was an interesting guy who will be missed, and remembered.
