FRANCES TORRE SOSSAMAN
Frances Torre Sossaman passed away, peacefully, on December 29, 2017, at the age of 87 years, while residing at Vista Shores in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was born on August 08, 1930, in Manhattan, New York to the late Antonina Siracusa and Leonardo Torre. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 60 years, Bruce Aitken Sossaman; children, Bruce P. Sossaman (wife, Lizette) and Craig S. Sossaman (wife, Shali) and four grandchildren, Allain Sossaman, Torre Sossaman, Emily Sossaman, and Grace Sossaman. She was a Parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Mandeville, Louisiana. France was a past President of Northshore Newcomers and a Master in the American Contract Bridge League. Frances’ passions were gardening and cooking. She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to Visitation to be held at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday, January 06, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum.
