Charles Allen Pierson, Jr. passed away at home on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the age of 84. Beloved husband Gail Lindermann Pierson. Father of Mark Allen Pierson, Debra Pierson Sonnier, Glen Charles Pierson and Bonnie Kaiser Roper. Son of the late Minnie Steffen and Charles Allen Pierson. Brother of Shirley Simon. Brother-in-law of Thomas Joseph Lindermann. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Mr. Pierson was a longtime employee of Martin Marietta Corp/Lockheed Martin Corp where he retired as the Materiel Sourcing Purchasing Manager. As a veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Pierson served his country proudly during the Korean War.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, starting at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 AM.
