Beverly Wray Bridges passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, in Covington, LA.  Born on December 14, 1944, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Thomas L. and Glennie Wray. Survived by her husband of 40 years, David Thadd Bridges, Sr.  Mother of Christina Martinez (Wes) and David Thadd Bridges, Jr. (Robyn Barrios).  Grandmother of Scott Martinez and Bailee, Ethan, Brynlee, and Addison Bridges.  Sister of Thomas Wray (Terry).  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  She was a native of Jefferson Parish and a resident of Chalmette until Hurricane Katrina.  Beverly was a graduate of Riverdale High School and a former employee of Bellsouth and United Cerebral Palsy of Greater New Orleans.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation Services at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA, 70124 on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.  The burial service will be conducted at Greenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
